Bel Air Retiree Wins $100,000 in Maryland Lottery Scratch-Off

BEL AIR, MD – A fortunate retiree from Bel Air has become the latest big winner in the Maryland Lottery, taking home the top prize of $100,000 from the Gold Rush 7s Multiplier scratch-off game.

The winning moment came unexpectedly as he used his phone to scan the ticket’s “prize check” QR code.

Upon scanning, the retiree received a prompt telling him to “Go to Lottery,” signaling a significant win. With anticipation, he then scratched the ticket, revealing a match with the number 58 and the life-changing $100,000 prize underneath.

Expressing his excitement, the winner shared plans to use the windfall to pay off bills, providing a much-welcomed financial relief.

In addition to the retiree’s good fortune, the Fountain Green Wawa in Harford County, where the ticket was purchased, will also benefit from the win with a $1,000 bonus.
