BEL AIR, MD – A Bel Air retiree has won the $100,000 top prize from a Gold Rush 7s Multiplier scratch-off ticket.

The winner discovered his prize after scanning the ticket’s “prize check” QR code on his phone, revealing a message to “Go to Lottery.” Upon scratching the ticket, he found that the number 58 matched, unveiling the $100,000 prize. Excitement filled the room as he realized his big win.

The Harford County resident plans to use his winnings to pay off bills. The winning ticket was sold at the Fountain Green Wawa, located at 1515 E. Churchville Road, which will receive a $1,000 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.

The Gold Rush 7s Multiplier game, launched on May 20, has now seen its fourth top-prize win. Four $100,000 prizes remain unclaimed, along with 23 $10,000 second-tier prizes and numerous others ranging from $10 to $1,000.
