Mail thieves caught on camera at Bensalem townhomes as police hunt for suspects

Bensalem, PA – Police are investigating a string of mail thefts at a Bucks County townhome community that took place over nearly two weeks in December, with surveillance footage capturing two suspects during the crimes, authorities announced Thursday.

According to Bensalem Police, the thefts occurred between December 15 and 27, 2025, at the Townhomes at Gateway. Investigators say the suspects were seen stealing mail from residential mailboxes on multiple occasions.

The first suspect, described as a Black male wearing glasses, was spotted driving a flatbed tow truck during thefts reported between December 17 and 23. A second suspect, also described as a Black male wearing glasses, was seen operating a white GMC Terrain, possibly bearing New Jersey license plates.

Police have released images from surveillance video and are urging residents to review them carefully. Investigators have not confirmed whether the suspects are linked to other mail thefts in the region.
