Bensalem police searching for hit and run driver

BENSALEM, PA — Police are searching for a woman involved in a hit-and-run incident that took place Saturday afternoon in a parking lot in Bensalem.

According to the Bensalem Township Police Department, the crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. on April 21, when an unknown woman driving a gray van struck another vehicle while attempting to park. The suspect allegedly exited her vehicle, inspected the damage, and then fled the scene without providing any information.

Authorities released a surveillance photo from the scene and are asking the public for assistance in identifying the woman. “If you have any information regarding the identity of this female, please submit an anonymous tip,” police said in a statement.
