Bethlehem man arrested in Allentown knife incident, charged with assault and threats

ALLENTOWN, PA — A Bethlehem man has been arrested and charged following a knife-related altercation in Allentown, authorities announced Thursday.

On Wednesday, July 23, at approximately 10:00 p.m., officers from the Allentown Police Department’s third platoon responded to the area of 19th and Tilghman Streets after receiving a report of a man wielding a knife during an altercation. Upon arrival, all individuals involved were detained. No injuries were reported, and a large knife was recovered at the scene.

Following an investigation, Donte Brown, 42, of the 600 block of Bradley Street in Bethlehem, was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault, and harassment.

Police said no further comment will be made at this time.
