Bicyclist Struck and Killed in Levittown

LEVITTOWN, PA – On Monday evening, around 7:00 PM, a motor vehicle accident occurred in the 9000 block of New Falls Road.

Preliminary findings indicate that a silver 2020 Nissan Rogue, driven by a 21-year-old Morrisville resident, collided with a bicyclist.

The bicyclist, identified only as ‘Jose’, a Hispanic male approximately 60 years old from Levittown, was wearing dark clothing and no helmet.

He sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan Rogue remained on site and is fully cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

At this time, neither alcohol, drugs, nor a medical emergency are believed to have played a role in the accident.
