WEST HEMPSTEAD, NY — A lucky TAKE 5 player in West Hempstead has won a top prize of $20,247 in the August 31 MIDDAY drawing.

The winning ticket was sold at STOP&GO Convenience & Smoke Shop, located at 485 Hempstead Turnpike.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from a pool of 39, with drawings held twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.
