Body of 19-Year-Old Missing Off Wildwood Coast Found

WILDWOOD, NJ – A 19-year-old swimmer who went missing on May 31st off the coast of Wildwood was recovered on Saturday, police here said.

Police said Alfred Williams of Drexel Hill, Pennsylvania was one of four distressed swimmers on that day. Two of the four swimmers were rescued, and a third was able to swim safely to shore.

There were no lifeguards on duty at the time.

The effort to find Williams was called off on June 2nd and became a recovery mission until police found his body this weekend.
