NEW YORK, NY – Police were called to a scene in Harlem on Monday, where a 32-year-old woman was found unconscious and unresponsive. The incident occurred at 112 East 128th Street, in the jurisdiction of the 25th Precinct, around 11:23 AM.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the woman in the building’s staircase. Emergency Medical Services were promptly summoned to the location, where they pronounced the woman deceased at the scene. Initial observations revealed no visible signs of trauma.
Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death. The Medical Examiner’s office is tasked with determining the official cause of death.
At this time, the identity of the deceased remains undisclosed as authorities await proper notification of her family.
