MONTCLAIR, NJ – The Montclair Police Department has confirmed that a bomb threat reported at the Wellmont Theater on Saturday, January 25, 2025, was determined to be a hoax following a thorough investigation.
Authorities have assured the public that there is no active threat and that the area was safe. The Wellmont Theater, along with surrounding businesses, reopened to the public after the investigation.
Police continue to investigate the origins of the hoax.
