Bomb Threat at Rockville High School Cleared by Police

ROCKVILLE, MD – A bomb threat at Thomas S. Wootton High School prompted an evacuation and a thorough investigation by Rockville City Police, assisted by Montgomery County Police.

The threat was reported at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.

Following extensive searches and safety checks, the school was declared safe at 3:30 p.m., with no threats found.

Students and staff were allowed to return to their classes following the clearance.
