Border Patrol Agents Encounter Large Group Near Eagle Pass

DEL RIO, TexasU.S. Border Patrol agents assigned to Del Rio Sector’s Eagle Pass Station apprehended a large group of undocumented migrants after they illegally entered the United States, Nov. 4.

Agents were informed of a group crossing near town and immediately responded. Agents quickly located the group, ultimately arresting more than 100 undocumented migrants. The migrants, from Colombia and Venezuela, included several tender-aged children and a 75-year-old woman.

All individuals will be processed in accordance with Customs and Border Protection policies. Eagle Pass Station has seen a recent increase in activity, with nearly 3,500 encounters in the last seven days.
