Boston, MA — Boston Police Department officers from District A-1 (Downtown) arrested 29-year-old Alicia Morasse of Cambridge following a stabbing incident on Sunday, August 4, at approximately 10:24 PM.

The incident occurred at a restaurant located at 1 Harrison Avenue, where police were initially called to assist with the removal of a patron. Upon arrival, officers learned that an adult male had been stabbed and promptly requested Boston EMS to transport the victim to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

According to reports, Morasse was causing a disturbance inside the restaurant and was asked to leave, which escalated into an altercation during which she stabbed the victim before fleeing the scene. Police obtained surveillance footage, disseminated images to all responding units, and subsequently located Morasse at the intersection of Stuart Street and Church Street. A knife was recovered from her backpack during the arrest.

Morasse faces charges including Assault with Intent to Murder, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon, Disorderly Conduct, Vandalizing Property, and Threat to Commit a Crime.

She is expected to be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.
