Boston Police Arrest Woman with 32 Grams of Crack Cocaine

Boston, MA – Police officers from District D-4 (South End) arrested 41-year-old Jodi Faria of Billerica on the night of Wednesday, April 10, on multiple drug trafficking charges.

The arrest occurred near Massachusetts Avenue and Albany Street following a tip about a stolen scooter being tracked in the area. When officers spotted Faria operating the scooter and attempted to approach her, she fled by driving onto the sidewalk. She was subsequently stopped and detained at 650 Albany Street.

During a search, officers discovered a large plastic bag containing approximately 32 grams of what was later confirmed to be crack cocaine. Faria faces charges of trafficking, possession with intent to distribute, and possession of class B substances. She is expected to be arraigned at Boston Municipal Court.
