Teen arrested after bottle attack in Northwest DC

WASHINGTON, DC – A 19-year-old from Maryland has been arrested after police say he attacked a man with a bottle during an early morning altercation in Northwest.

On August 17 at about 6:00 a.m., the suspect and victim got into a verbal dispute in the 2200 block of 8th Street NW. Police said the suspect then pulled out a bottle and struck the victim before fleeing the scene.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A short time later, police arrested 19-year-old Myles Selby of Waldorf, Maryland. He was charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Bottle).
