Boy Injured in Southeast D.C. Shooting

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A boy was injured in a shooting early Sunday in Southeast D.C., according to the D.C. Metro Police Department.. Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of Bellevue Street SE at approximately 1 a.m.

Upon arrival, police found the boy who had been shot. He was conscious and breathing at the time. Police are investigating the incident, and no further details have been released.
