Brazen Daylight Burglary in Brooklyn Nets $35,000 in Cash and Jewelry

NEW YORK, NY – On Friday morning, police were alerted to a home invasion near 17 Avenue and Cropsey Avenue. At around 11:40 AM, two men forcefully broke through a rear door, entering the residence and stealing approximately $35,000 in cash and jewelry before fleeing westbound on Bath Avenue.

Descriptions of the suspects have been released. The first is about 5’10” tall with a medium complexion and a heavy build, last seen wearing a black hat, navy blue jacket, multicolored pants, and black sneakers. The second man is roughly 5’9” tall, has a light complexion and a medium build, and was spotted wearing a blue construction helmet, yellow safety vest, dark pants, and black boots. There were no injuries reported in the incident.
