Brentwood Man Indicted for String of Convenience Store and Gas Station Robberies

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY – Johnathan Moore, a 34-year-old Brentwood resident, has been indicted for a series of convenience store and gas station robberies across Suffolk County. The string of crimes spanned three weeks from April 14 to May 7, 2023.

Moore allegedly entered various stores, requested items from the clerks, and ripped out the cash registers while the clerks were distracted. In one instance, Moore allegedly punched a female clerk before fleeing with the cash register. Moore was arrested on May 11, 2023, following investigations involving numerous witnesses and surveillance videos.

On Wednesday, Moore was arraigned before Supreme Court Justice Timothy P. Mazzei for charges including two counts of Second Degree Robbery.
