Brick moves forward on roadway improvements at Timber Ridge Estates

BRICK TOWNSHIP — The Township Council has awarded a $589,223.50 contract to Meco, Inc. for roadway improvements in the Timber Ridge Estates neighborhood as part of the 2023 Capital Road Program.

The bid, opened on Friday, June 27, was reviewed by Colliers Engineering & Design, which recommended Meco, Inc. as the lowest responsive and responsible bidder in full compliance with project specifications. The work will cover Red Maple Drive, Blue Spruce Place, and White Pine Court.

The Township’s Chief Financial Officer certified that funds are available for the project, which will be paid from Ordinance #5-25 under account C-04-55-897-401.

Under the resolution passed by the council, Mayor Lisa Crate is authorized to execute the contract, with the Township Clerk attesting to its form. A copy of the finalized contract will be made available for public examination.

Meco, Inc., based in Clarksburg, NJ, will carry out the project aimed at upgrading road infrastructure in the residential section of Brick.
