Brick Police Arrest Suspect in Vehicle Burglary Incident

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – A vigilant resident’s report led to the arrest of a suspect for attempted vehicle burglary in Brick Township.

On Tuesday, at around 12:55 a.m., Brick Police responded to a report of a suspicious person on Windsor Rd.

Ptl. Scott Mesmer was dispatched to the location and successfully located a suspect matching the caller’s description.

The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Christopher Kennedy from Burlington, New Jersey, was apprehended and charged with two counts of burglary and theft of movable property.

Kennedy was processed at the Brick Police Headquarters and is currently held in Ocean County Jail. Chief David Forrester highlighted the crucial role of the community in such cases and encourages public vigilance.
