Brick Township Issues Weather Advisory; Prepares for Heavy Rain and Gale Force Winds

BRICK, NJ – The Brick Township Police Department released a weather advisory today, warning residents of heavy rain, gale force winds, and potential flooding. The advisory is in effect from Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.

Residents living in flood-prone areas are advised to relocate their vehicles to higher ground. Designated parking areas include Angela Hibbard Park, Edmund Hibbard Park, Windward Beach Park, Midstreams School, and the overflow parking lot in the middle of Rt. 35, opposite Brick Beach III.

The Police Department also recommends limiting travel during this period. If travel is necessary, individuals should exercise caution and allow extra time for their journey.
