BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A lucky Keno player in Bridgeport is celebrating a $40,000 win, thanks to a ticket purchased at Extra Fuel Mart, Connecticut Lottery officials announced Thursday.
The winning ticket, sold at the Bridgeport retailer, secured the player a major prize in the popular draw game, which features chances to win up to $1 million.
Keno is drawn every four minutes, giving players multiple opportunities each day to win prizes by matching numbers from a field of one through 80.
The Connecticut Lottery reminds all players to check their tickets carefully and encourages winners to sign the back of their tickets to secure their winnings.
