Bronx Assault Suspects Sought After Man Stabbed With Broken Bottle Near East 176th Street

Police say a 28-year-old man was stabbed in the back with a broken glass bottle during a dispute outside a Bronx business.

Bronx, NY – Police are searching for two suspects accused of stabbing and assaulting a man during a dispute at a commercial establishment in the Bronx.

The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. Thursday at a business located at 124 East 176th Street. According to investigators, a 28-year-old man was inside the establishment when two unidentified individuals approached him and a verbal argument began.

Victim attacked with broken bottle

Police said the dispute escalated when one of the suspects used a broken glass bottle to stab the victim in the back.

A second suspect then struck the victim in the face with another glass bottle before both suspects fled the scene.

Suspects fled toward subway station

Authorities said the two individuals were last seen running toward the 174–175 Streets subway station.

Police have not released descriptions of the suspects as the investigation continues.
