Bronx Check Cashing Business Robbed

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is probing an attempted robbery that occurred recently.

On Saturday, August 12, around 3:15 pm, an unidentified person entered a ‘Pay-O-Matic’ located at 396 East 167 Street.

The individual presented a note to the teller, demanding money.

The teller refrained from following the demand, causing the individual to leave the location immediately.

No injuries were reported from the incident.
