NYC Knifepoint Train Robbery: Victim RObbed of Phone

Bronx, NY – A man was robbed of his cellphone at knife-point on the northbound “6” train near the East 177th Street-Parkchester subway station.

Early Tuesday, February 20, at around 3:20 AM, a 26-year-old male was approached by an unknown individual who brandished a knife and demanded the victim’s cellphone. After complying, the victim exited the train at the East 177 Street-Parkchester station, while the assailant remained on the train heading north. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.

The suspect is described as a male, last seen wearing a blue winter jacket and a black knit hat. Authorities are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating the individual responsible for this crime.
