Bronx Man Arrested for Attack on 64-Year-Old Woman

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Sam Mensah, a 32-year-old male from the Bronx, was arrested and charged with assault last Thursday at approximately 8:10 pm.

The arrest is part of an ongoing investigation by the New York City Police Department.

The initial incident occurred on Saturday, when an unknown individual shoved a 64-year-old woman, causing her to fall and scrape her knee. The suspect fled on foot. The woman is in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’9″ in height, between 25-35 years of age, with a slim build. He was last seen wearing a red hat, white long sleeve shirt, and blue pants.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual involved in this assault.
