Police say the suspect shoved the victim down multiple flights of stairs before repeatedly punching and kicking him.
Bronx, NY – Police are searching for a suspect accused of violently assaulting a man inside a Bronx residential building early Wednesday morning, according to the NYPD.
The attack occurred around 6:23 a.m. inside a building located at 6 West 190th Street.

Dispute escalates into violent attack

Investigators said the incident began when an unidentified individual approached a 32-year-old man and engaged him in a verbal dispute inside the building.
During the confrontation, the suspect grabbed the victim and shoved him down several flights of stairs.
Victim beaten after fall
Police said the suspect then continued the assault, repeatedly punching and kicking the victim about the body.
The attacker also struck the victim in the face with an unknown object before the incident ended. Authorities have not released additional details about the victim’s condition.

The suspect fled the location following the assault. Investigators have not yet released a description of the individual.
