NEW YORK, NY – A suspect has been charged for a deadly attack in the Bronx in January.
The arrest took place at 8:05 PM and the suspect has been identified as Ian Wiggins, a 47-year-old male residing at 730 Sound View Avenue in Bronx.
Wiggins was taken into custody as part of the investigation into a murder case and has been charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
The incident which occurred on Wednesday, January 11, at approximately 11:14 AM, police responded to a distress call at 706 Hinsdale Street, apartment #2A, within the confines of the 75th Precinct.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the lifeless body of James Hudley, a 53-year-old male, lying face down on his bed with apparent head trauma.
EMS responded to the scene but pronounced him deceased.

The incident was initially classified as an aided, unconscious male, but upon further investigation, it had been reclassified as a Homicide.
