BRONX, NY—Bronx District Attorney Darcel D. Clark announced the indictment of 20-year-old Freddy Flores for multiple charges, including Attempted Murder in the second degree, following a shooting that injured a two-year-old boy. The incident occurred on a busy Fordham Road, a well-known shopping area, on the Saturday before Easter at around 1:42 PM.

Flores, who resides at 2386 Walton Avenue, reportedly fired five shots towards an individual but instead hit a toddler who was walking with his mother on the opposite sidewalk.

Flores faces additional charges, including Assault, Criminal Use of a Firearm, and Reckless Endangerment. He was arraigned before Bronx Supreme Court Justice Brenda Rivera, with bail set at $50,000 cash.

His next court appearance is scheduled for July 17, 2024.
