Bronx Man Jailed Over Rape of 10-Year-Old Child

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department announced the arrest of Drequan Drayton-Howard, a 23-year-old Bronx resident, on charges of rape, sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child.

The arrest, made on Wednesday, is connected to an incident that occurred on January 6.

On that day, Drayton-Howard allegedly met a 10-year-old girl through an online application and subsequently raped her in a residence near 3rd Avenue and East 122nd Street.

The victim was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.
