BRONX, NY—Police were called to a shooting incident at 690 Allerton Avenue in the 49th Precinct on Saturday, following a 911 report of a male shot.
Officers found an unidentified male with a fatal gunshot wound to the head upon their arrival. Emergency Medical Services pronounced the individual deceased at the scene at approximately 10:53 PM.
The victim has been identified as 25-year-old Daniel Lachapel of Bronx, NY. Currently, no arrests have been made as the investigation continues.
