Bronx Man Shot and Killed on East 160th Street

NEW YORK, NY — A 30-year-old man was shot and killed late Saturday night in the Bronx, authorities confirmed. The New York Police Department reported that the incident occurred at 381 East 160th Street in the jurisdiction of the 42nd Precinct.

Police arrived at the scene following a 911 call made at 10:10 PM to find David Disla with a gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services swiftly transported Disla to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln, where he succumbed to his injuries.

As of now, the NYPD has made no arrests in connection with the shooting. The investigation is active, with detectives gathering evidence and seeking any potential witnesses to shed light on the circumstances leading to Disla’s death.

Officials have not released further details regarding possible suspects or motives.
