Bronx man stabbed in face and head during early morning street attack

BRONX, N.Y. — A 32-year-old man was stabbed in the face and head during a violent group assault on Boston Road early Sunday, police said.

According to the NYPD, the incident took place at approximately 2:00 a.m. in front of 3391 Boston Road. The victim was involved in a verbal dispute with three unknown individuals when the altercation turned violent.

Authorities said the attackers began punching and kicking the victim repeatedly. One of the individuals then used a cutting instrument to stab the man in the face and head.

Victim hospitalized, suspects on the run

Emergency services responded to the scene and transported the victim to Montefiore Medical Center. He was listed in stable condition with serious physical injuries.

Police said the suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction following the assault. No arrests have been made as the investigation continues.

The suspects remain unidentified, and law enforcement has not yet released descriptions or potential motives for the attack. The area was canvassed for surveillance footage and witnesses.
