BRONX, N.Y. — One lucky player in the Bronx has won $1,000 a week for life after purchasing a second-prize ticket in the July 9 CASH4LIFE drawing, the New York Lottery announced Wednesday.

The winning ticket was sold at Jeffrey Deli Grocery, located at 2149 Valentine Avenue. The prize carries a guaranteed minimum payout of $1 million.

CASH4LIFE numbers are drawn from a field of one to 60, with a separate Cash Ball drawn from one to four. Drawings are held daily at approximately 9 p.m.

Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim their prize.

The New York Lottery remains the most profitable in North America, contributing $3.8 billion last fiscal year to support public schools across the state.
