Bronx rapist arrested by NYPD

NEW YORK, NY – On Wednesday, a man was arrested in Brooklyn as part of an ongoing investigation into an attempted rape that occurred on Friday, June 9. Patrick Robles, a 44-year-old male from the Bronx, faces charges of attempted rape, robbery, and attempted criminal sex act by force.

The incident in question occurred on a southbound MTA ā€˜J’ train at the Chambers Street station, where an unidentified male, later identified as Robles, exposed himself to a 29-year-old female and attempted to force oral sex. He also attempted to remove her clothes, punched her, and stole her cellphone, money, and keys. The victim was able to escape and was later treated at a local hospital.
