NEW YORK, NY – Detectives with the New York City Police Department have announced the arrest of Gibran Guerrero, 19, for the murder of Gaston Johnny.

On December 15th, officers from the 46th Precinct were called to the area of 189 Burnside Avenue in the Bronx for a reported shooting.

Upon their arrival, police located Johnny suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A second victim, a 27-year-old male, was shot in the ground and recovered.

Johnny was charged with murder, attempted murder, manslaughter, assault, robbery, and criminal weapons charges.
