Bronx Woman Victim of Theft and Fraudulent Credit Card Use

Bronx, NY – A 48-year-old woman fell victim to theft and subsequent credit card fraud in the Bronx, authorities report. The incident occurred on Monday, January 22, in the early morning hours near Grand Concourse and East 182 Street.

According to police reports, at around 9:40 AM, the woman’s backpack was stolen. The contents of the backpack included her credit card, which was later used for an unauthorized transaction. The fraudulent purchase was made at a store located at 3051 Valentine Avenue, Bronx, NY.

The identity of the suspect remains unknown, and an investigation is underway.
