BROOKLYN, NEW YORK – The New York Lottery has exciting news following the January 22 TAKE 5 MIDDAY drawing: two top-prize winning tickets, each worth $8,744.50, were sold in Brooklyn and Manhattan.

In Brooklyn, the lucky ticket was sold at Firo Food Market, located at 5215 Avenue D. Meanwhile, Manhattan’s winning ticket came from Diamond News at 631 2nd Ave.

TAKE 5, a popular lottery game, draws its winning numbers from a pool of one to 39. The drawings are held twice daily, giving participants two chances each day to win, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
