BROOKLYN, NY – A Take 5 top-prize ticket worth $34,627 was sold in Brooklyn for the evening drawing on Saturday, Dec. 7, the New York Lottery announced.

The winning ticket was purchased at Sunny Gourmet Deli, located at 153 Joralemon Street. The ticket matched all five numbers drawn from a field of one through 39, securing the top prize for one lucky player.

Take 5 drawings take place twice daily, at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., providing multiple chances to win. Winners have up to one year from the drawing date to claim their prize, according to lottery officials.

The New York Lottery continues to lead North America as the largest and most profitable lottery, contributing $3.8 billion to public education in New York State during fiscal year 2023-2024.
