Brooklyn Ice Cream Shop Robbed at Gunpoint

Brooklyn, NY – A Carvel store in Brooklyn was the scene of an armed robbery, believed to have been conducted at gunpoint.

On Tuesday, February 13, at approximately 1:30 PM, an unidentified male entered the Carvel located at 8612 3rd Avenue. The suspect simulated having a firearm and demanded money from a 23-year-old male employee. After obtaining an undisclosed sum of currency, the assailant fled on foot heading southbound on 3rd Avenue.

The suspect is believed to be in his 30s, around 6 feet tall, and was last observed wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black jeans.

The suspect is still at-large.
