Brooklyn Man Arrested for January Attack Inside Subway Station

New York, NY – In a recent development, 61-year-old Dexter Burnett was arrested and charged with assault, disorderly conduct, and harassment. The arrest took place on Monday, February 12, at 1:30 PM, within the jurisdiction of the 60th Precinct in Brooklyn.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 23, around 5:13 PM, at the Sutter Avenue subway station within the 73rd Precinct/Transit District 33. An unidentified male engaged in a verbal altercation with a 36-year-old male victim before physically assaulting him, resulting in bruising and lacerations. The victim was subsequently transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County in stable condition.

Authorities urge anyone with information on the subway assault to come forward to aid in the investigation.
