Brooklyn man arrested for weapons and drug violations after being found unresponsive in vehicle

BROOKLYN, Md. — On September 4, 2024, at approximately 9:30 a.m., an officer responded to a call regarding an unresponsive man in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on Church Street near Ritchie Highway. Upon waking the individual, the officer noticed a handgun grip in the man’s waistband.

The suspect was immediately detained and found to be in possession of 24 suspected Oxycodone Hydrochloride pills, drug packaging materials, a digital scale, $635 in cash, and a .25 caliber AG Armi Galesi Hijo handgun.

The man was arrested and charged with multiple weapons and controlled dangerous substance (CDS) violations.
