Brooklyn Man Arrested in Connection to September Shooting

NEW YORK, NY – Diamante Shell, 25, from Brooklyn, was arrested and charged on Saturday for his involvement in a shooting that occurred in September. Shell faces a range of charges, including murder, criminally negligent homicide, and various assault charges. He was detained at 375 Lexington Avenue in Brooklyn around 12:35 p.m.

The arrest follows a separate but connected incident on September 19, where gunfire was exchanged near Amsterdam Avenue and West 89th Street. The incident resulted in a 41-year-old male suffering injuries to his buttocks and shoulder. The victim was later taken to Mount Sinai Morningside and is currently in stable condition.
