Brooklyn Man Charged in 2022 Queens Homicide

QUEENS, NY – Authorities arrested 44-year-old Kenyon Nesbitt of Brooklyn on Wednesday in connection with the fatal shooting of Kenneth Murphy, 36, of Queens. The incident occurred on December 27, 2022, around 2:52 a.m. in front of 146-48 Sutphin Boulevard.

Police responded to reports of a shooting and found Murphy inside a Nissan Altima with a gunshot wound to his head. Emergency services pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Nesbitt faces charges of murder and criminal possession of a weapon. The investigation by the 103 Precinct is ongoing.
