BROOKLYN, MD – A robbery incident occurred on Sunday, in the 5500 block of Ritchie Highway in Brooklyn, resulting in the arrest of the perpetrator.

Naveen Joshi, a 48-year-old from Glen Burnie, is accused of assaulting and robbing a victim of their purse.

During the altercation, Joshi brandished a box cutter knife and threatened the victim.

The victim, who initially resisted, called for help following the threat.

Officers responding to the scene apprehended Joshi, who is now facing corresponding charges.
