Buffalo Man Pleads Guilty to Attempted Robbery

BUFFALO, NY – Erie County District Attorney John J. Flynn announced on Thursday that 39-year old Edward T. Turner of Buffalo pleaded guilty to attempted robbery in the first degree and robbery in the second degree.

The charges result from two separate incidents in November 2021. Turner stole cash from a business on West Chippewa Street and several bottles of cologne from a store on Amelia Drive in Orchard Park. He also attempted to drive away in a car with a woman’s children inside, but they managed to escape unharmed.

Turner is scheduled to be sentenced as a second felony offender on Thursday, June 29, 2023.
