Buffalo Police Seek Public Help in Locating Missing Teen

Buffalo, NY – The Buffalo Police Department has issued a call for public assistance to help locate a missing teenager, Melvin Velasquez. The 16-year-old was last observed in the 700 block of Plymouth Street.

Melvin is described as 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a blue long-sleeve shirt, black shoulder bag, and white Nike sneakers.

The department has released an image of Melvin alongside the request for information. Authorities urge anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts to contact emergency services by calling 911 without delay.

Community members are being asked to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information that could assist in locating the teenager. The Buffalo Police Department continues to prioritize the search effort and appreciates the public’s cooperation.
