Burglar Fatally Shot in Philadelphia High-Rise Apartment

PHILADELPHIA, PA — A recent burglary turned deadly at a high-rise apartment on City Ave in Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Police sources reported that the burglar was shot and killed after breaking into an apartment, which was identified as a stash house.

Surveillance footage showed the burglar stealing from the apartment. The owner, driving from North Philadelphia, confronted the burglar on the 16th floor after noticing the break-in.

Following the confrontation, the burglar was pronounced dead at the scene, with the police discovering multiple guns, large quantities of cash, and duffel bags filled with weed in the apartment.

The shooter has been taken into custody by the Philadelphia Police. Homicide detectives are currently investigating the incident at The Premier at City Line high rise building located at 6100 City Line Ave.
