Burglary at Staten Island Popeye’s Results in $900 Theft

STATEN ISLAND, NY – A burglary was reported at a Popeye’s restaurant on 1351 Forest Avenue in the early hours of April 6. An unidentified male gained entry by opening the front door around 3:10 AM, subsequently stealing $900 from the register before fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, last seen wearing a Knicks varsity jacket, a light-colored knit hat, light-colored pants, and boots. No injuries were reported following the incident.
