Burglary suspect barricaded himself in bedroom when confronted by homeowner

GLEN BURNIE, MD – The Eastern District reported a burglary on Sunday, at about 5:30 am at a residence on Phirne Road in Glen Burnie.

The suspect, identified as Carl Lee Timothy Waller Jr, 33, of Columbia, allegedly broke into the home, rushed upstairs, and barricaded himself in a bedroom.

The resident was at home during the incident. Officers arrived on scene and arrested Waller Jr without incident. No injuries were reported.
